"Dremel" tool with heavy-duty cutoff wheels.  USe an old pair of needle
nose pliers to grip the shaft (it'll get scuffed occasionally).  The pliers
also make a nice heat-sink to keep the pot body cool...

I like to poke the pot through a large piece of cardboard to keep dust out
of the body.
