I certainly agree. But, if you take a coil, and extend a loop out, and
squash the loop so it has very little cross sectional area, with the current
running parallel and in opposite directions in the 2 sides, there is not
going to be much radiation from it at all. Which is exactly what you want.
And as for putting magnetic material in it.. I wish I could borrow a RCA
theremin so I could stick a ferrite rod in there, I bet it would have some
effect ;D
OK lets build a microwave stripline ribbon controller!
