I think you're looking for stripboard magic.  AFAIK, the company who
developed it abandoned it a couple of years ago and allowed it to
be distibuted as freeware.  It was still available to download from a ham
radio site last month.  I can't remember the URL, but if you search for
"stripboard magic" using Google, you should get there.  It's about 4 meg.
