50% of my engineering solutions come while asleep. Sometimes I come in to work
late explaining that they owe me for the solution on my own time ;^)

Actually 100% of them come in my sleep... but I throw away 50% when I wake up
because they violate widely held immutable laws of physics. What works in the
subconscious sometimes doesn't make it into production.

Once... I offered to contact the ghost of a deceased employee. The next day I went
into work with the solution... "good news - bad news". I said the answer is "xxx"
but
"where are you gonna send the consulting fee to ?"

H^) harry (working on something totally different right now ;^)
