I'm out of my frequency here... (literally... I'm not RF man).
The etherwave volume antenna has only one end connected to anything... so I'd think antenna and not coil. Dipping your hand is supposed to cut the sound quickly...
but I modded mine to have the volume increase as you get closer. Its more natural
to my playing (and it stops the damn thing from playing when you walk away...)
Maybe try LEVNET (internet theremin list) but they are not generally too technical
over there. With my 'quantized theremin synth' I'm a bit of a pariah over there ;^)
