The daft thing is, I only responded to the list because QF strangely decided
to send the original mail to the list too. But it never made it to the
list - I guess it bounced, maybe because he is not subbed. But you can see
from the header (and his intro) that it was sent to the SDIY address. So I
guess there are people wondering what the hell I was going on about... I
guess he sent it to SDIY as well because I highlighted the fact that he had
been discussed on SDIY recently.
At the moment, I still don't know whether to carry out the transaction or
what (i.e. send money). It does appear that the guy is trying to get
straight, he appears genuine, and communicates well. But I'd be interested
to read the responses of anyone mentioned in his email.
I can't understand why he blew up like this. In my last email to him, I
stated that I was now happy to carry out the transaction, but asked if he
would be happy with me only sending half the payment first. All I needed was
a yes or a bleeding no. But I got a facking life story instead, sent not
only to myself but to SDIY as well.
