Hey all - I've been off the list for a while, so apologies if I'm rehashing
a question that's been discussed in depth.
It's (past) time to get a good analog sequencer for my Serge/Fenix combo.
To make a long story short: the Serge offerings are too damn expensive, the
Doepfer stuff looks cool but will require extensive jack reworking
(mini->banana), and nothing else out there interests me. Hence, my renewed
interest in DIY.
I've seen SuperMoe, and the Resonant Freq design, but these are still in
development, and I'm not too sure how long I want to wait. (BTW, both of
these are great looking designs.) Yes, and SuperSeq, etc. But I don't have
the time or energy to create my own PC boards, so I'm looking for something
that at least has a PC board available. And I'm not looking for a boring
old 16-step loop sequencer, either.. I'd like it to have a little more
flexibility that that. I could start with a couple PC board based
instruments and add a few widgets (dividers, analog switches, etc.) of mine
own, but nothing really extensive.
So.. any comments on what's available?
TIA -
Jim Johnson
