[sdiy] de-tuned by transport?

Hi!

This weekend i decided to carry my small modular synth to a music making friend.
I put the whole thing into the back of my car and drove my way through the 
city...
Arrived there i sadly discoverd some detuning of the oscillator's/filter's 
V/oct. scaling.
Back home i noticed that nearly ALL trimmers settings must have been changed 
due to the vibration of the transport.
I spent about one hour on calibrating all the V/Oct. scalings etc.

Since i have never built a synth before i would like to hear how other's fixed 
that problem
(if this is a common problem - maybe it's my temperature compensation that 
failed completely....)
anyway - I used only high quality multi turn cermet trimmers if that helps.
