No, it's not flawed. It's not a bug, but a feature. "Reality" has no objective
definition (at least not a completely objective one). So multiple, "alternate"
realities are in place, and all of them are real (for someone). Slght variations
of reality idea are not only tolerable, but IMHO makes life better. For example in
social activities a slightly variation of what is real or not make a vacation a
completely different experience.
Returning on a musical subject, there are several real pianos: the Steinway is
just one. There are vertical pianos pretty popular (think old Bosendorfer). Think
of pianos for ragtime, think about prepared pianos used in contemporary music
(with bells and metal sheets inside the harmonic box). They are all *real* and
*good* in their field of application.
