Not a fan of Merzbow or Masonna are we? :]
My only contribution to the endless "MIDI sucks" war (And after surviving
the hell known as making an Edirol MPU-64 play nice) is that I don't see any
other tool except further revisions of the standard, for good or bad is
completely engrained on every musician subconcious.
