Hi all, just want to chime in on the EE degree thing. I strongly urge
people to pursue EE degrees. I do hardware design work for a networking
company here in the silicon valley. Sure, it has its ups and downs like
any job, but overall I really love what I do. Its great designing something,
then getting it working in the lab. Very rewarding when that product is
fully qualified, and starts selling to customers.

Getting my EE degree was extremely difficult for me, but completely worth
the effort.
