Yes, but how much *time* will this take ? It's not just 9 messages instead
of one (pretty much already). The fastest you can get is sending the
9 events without a gap between them (probably way too slow already),
but then you haven't gained anything over a linear interpolation
(equidistant closing of the 9 contacts) yet.
