ok you can cheat :-)

Think, if you trigger on just ONE edge, you get the rated PPR
say for example 24 pulses per rev..

now trigger on BOTH rising AND falling edge's...
You can get 48 pulses per revoloution...

though for this you need to ones WITHOUT the indent (else every
decrement/increment will be 2)
