Ah the bane of the repair tech. It happens all too often... but with the
Mono/poly there are a few things I would look at.
Check out the waveform switches... they'll probably need a good clean.
If they are OK, you can open her up and have a look inside.
Firstly, as with all front panel mounted voice card PCBs, check that no
contaminants have fallen/spilt onto the board. The last monopoly I had a
small drop of some now dried liquid, which had partially eaten its way
through odd tracks of the board. Usual suspects are coffee, cola and
beer.
Secondly, check and probably replace those blue tantalum caps on the VCO
PCB. They're mounted in 'upside down' on the component side of the
board. You'll see what I mean when you see them.
And you could also pull every plug and socket apart and push them back
again to loosen off any grime.
And if you are feeling really keen, change all those dull red LEDs over
to new modern colours. I did the change to a polysix and it looks rather
nice sporting new orange, yellow, pure red and green LEDs.
