hi everybody,

I remember there was a temporary website with the searchable archive from buchi somewhere, is that still around?

A friend is thinking about buying a 1040st with a busted drive, but I remember reading about replacing them on the list,  and that it was hard to find the disks and the drive or something.

could someone refresh my memory and give the the skinny on this again? how hard is it to get a new drive in. maybe an upgrade, and how hard is it to find a suitable drive,how much green, etc.
