Ooh, I can think of at least two people on the list know their stuff when it
comes to FPGAs, it could probably knock something up for you ina few hours
(hi guys)

I would go for a small FPGA, I mean if you didnt want a multiplier, you
could reconfigure it do other stuff at a later date
