     Not on a DIY basis.  I used several of their building blocks about 
12 years ago to build processing electronics for doing focal plane 
processing.  Back then, a 16x16 multiplier was pretty pricey.  I have no 
idea what those chips might go for now, but, with high speed DSP chips, 
there might not be much reason, that, and also FPGA's.  You can get a 
lot of computing horse power in things like Xilinx Virtex and Altera 
Acex chips for not a whole lot of money.
