Fortunatly, BBD's arnt the most difficult devices in the world to design.
The hard part I've been finding is locating a fab that is interested in
doing low production ones.

Have you had any luck finding MN3005s?
I've located 3010's but I'm still searching for 3005s.  I have a few other
places to dig through locally ( and I do mean dig ) here in the bay area
before I start trying old east coast contacts.
