Hi list,
For those of you who were interested in my TR909 project:
I'm currently awaiting prototypes of the second PCB. Once this is tested and
everything, I'll be putting an order in for a batch of them. I need to put a
bit of money together if I'm going to afford to do this, so I'm accepting
preorders if anyone would like to secure a set of boards. The pair of PCBs
will be 60 UK pounds which includes a pre-programmed PIC. And p+p on top on
that. No other components are included, although I expect to provide a 'rare
components' kit sometime, containing the EPROMs for the cymbals and hihats,
and some special transistors. Obviously the EPROMs are the most difficult
bit. If you send me three 27C256's, I'll program those for you.
I'm sorry that there is no information sitting on the web anywhere on this
project at the moment. Nor have I prepared any interesting documentation yet
(I'm working hard at it). I haven't even named the thing (any suggestions?
:o) I'll get that done as soon as I can.
In the meantime, don't hesitate to contact me if you have any specific
questions, or if you want a better description of the project, and if you'd
like to secure some boards.
Kind regards (and sorry for the spam!)
Trevor.
