    Hmm...I would think the Horowitz and Hill  would be pretty good...

    However, here is one that should be in everybodies library...The Analog
Devices NonLinear Handbook...It is not about op-amps, per say, but it does have
a lot of analog applications in it, using mostly non-linear devices, such as
Multipliers, Log Circuits, etc.  There are a lot of good ideas in there,
although, this is a fairly advanced book.

    As far as the math goes...well, you can't escape math when it comes to
opamps...although, if all you need to do is calculate gains, the algebra
involved in that is fairly simple.

    Now, OTA applications, I don't think you are going to find much on that.  I
have some application info on my web site, and there is some other info on OTA's
on a few other peoples websites.  Even in Musical Applications of
Microprocessors, OTA's are not much more than a footnote.
