[sdiy] Setting VAC PSU in EC

Hi all,

I'm going to build my ASM-1 and first step is to set the jumper of the power supply unit.
It's a Power One HBB 15 1,5 A sourcing both +15 / -15.
Now jumpers offer to me choice to be setted at 220 VAC or 230-240 VAC.
I'm in Italy and current is not so *clean*  and my PSU it has not a OverVoltage Protection.
So , better jumping ? I'm thinking to set it at 230 , but ...
OverVoltage Protection is really needed ?
Any hint is welcome.
