Thanks for your comments.
The pots you mentioned seemed to me also as good choice, but
they are made only with 1/4" or 1/8" shaft while I need 6mm
or 4mm, as my beloved knobs are made with such hole sizes.
BTW, is it possible to get somewhere 1/8" to 6mm 'converters'?
I have 4-to-6mm, but maybe there are other types somewhere?
