AFAIK, digital (non-analogue) is not off topic on this 
list.  And you don't have to spell it with a bunch of 
* characters either.  Digital is perfectly acceptable 
if it's (1) a synth subject and (2) has any aspect of 
DIY associated with the post.  Building, fixing, mods,
panels, finishing, how-to, etc, etc.

Actually, a digital gate *is* analog.  I've recently
had a lot of fun with CMOS inverter gates.  They
can work in the standard logic 1/0 mode, OR with 
2 resistors can work very much like an inverting
analogue amplifier.  But even when used as logic
gates, they still qualify as on topic for this list.
