As the saying goes, "misery loves company"...
I luckily(?) just got a new job as a studio tech right as my old job was
going 6 feet under. Only been there two weeks, and a head rolled yesterday.
As the newbie there, I'm in the dark about just about everything, but I have
overheard conversations that were not very comforting at all. The politics
at this place are UNREAL. It appears on the OUTSIDE that this place is Very
stable and business is good, but underneath things are very volatile. I'm
just hoping to ride out the politics and economic situation with a gig still
in hand. Some LA studios haven't had any clients in 3 MONTHS, and are
folding! Well see what happens, I guess...
