hey Grant,
Thanks for all the tips man!! I was wondering about the 150k value. op amp
voltage follower it is! I only have to buffer the output right?
I am building one, maybe two joysticks (one on each side Wiard style
perhaps?)
into the case of my EFM seq2 since I'll have a decent amount of panel space
available, the the bipolar supply isn't an issue.
hmm, good point about the ground / Zero thing, that is one of the reasons I
wanted to make it patched out in that I could have it be bipolar for cv
control, or unipolar for attenuation duties, and now that you mention it, cv
control with a definate zero will definately come in handy.
I think I will definately have all jack available anyway just incase, maybe
panning? I don;t know. after this one maybe I'll build a scaled down one
with the features I use most only, but I have never used a joystick before in
the modular context, so I am not sure what that might be. so maybe a three
position toggle w toggle forthe jack, V and Ground, for the bottom and left
pins.
I'll have some fun playing with the design and se what is best. nice tip on
putting the push button nearby for one handed operation.
I think it is time to have another close look at the wiard stuff you've got
some great ideas!
thanks!
Eduardo
