    I know what you mean, I was the same way...back in 1978, I
redesigned the display that was used where I worked then to use LED's
instead of Nixies.  The had hundreds of Nixies in stock, which were
tossed...and I didn't snag them...at the time, I thought they were
useless.....

    Bad geek...bad bad....<swat>....
