That is the COOLEST thing.

This is an example of the marvelous potential of the web as a technical
resource. Some kind soul has gone to a tremendous amount of work so anyone
can see what these tubes do in action. This is a great application of
animated gifs for technical merit and not simply novelty.

Now I am beginning to think that virtual instrument wrappers could be
extremely cool. Like Nixies? Make a whole softsynth out of them. Now we just
need close ups of bakelite plastic and crackle paint. Oh and those gigantic
knobs like on Gates mixers. Steampunk styling agogo, I love it.
