folks i bought a POWER ONE power supply from MPJA, and it runs my
entire modular setup (three fracraks full of oakley, cgs, and homemade
modules, as well as a blacet darkstar) at +/-15v, with no noise, no
trouble.... i think i paid $18 for it incl. shipping, and after adjusting
two trimmers (to output 15v instead of 12v) and soldering on a power
cord i was done....
recommendation for power supplies: MPJA.COM
as many times as other people have said this on the list: your
best bet for a power supply is to BUY ONE and not have to worry about line
current, noise, design, heat dissipation, power ratings (within reason),
etc.... for less than twenty bucks i have zero headaches plus ULTIMATE
INFINITE POWER!!!!
(well, okay, maybe only 800mA)
