Kids,
In that this is the season for giving, I have one breadboarded Low Pass Gate
(no faceplate, but all external parts mounted) to give away to the first
taker, and one I'll sell for a measely $15.
Now, I'm warning you:
the giveaway one was the first LPG I worked on, incoroporated two single
vactrols in series (as in Buchla's 292A) -and- is an absolute mess to look
at from all the fuss I had to go through to get it working originally. On
top of that, it's mounted on a vector board that was huge, so I had to cut
it off with snips once it was made to get it to fit in my chassis. Ugly,
but works perfectly.
The second is in much better shape looks wise, uses polystyrene's for all
caps, only one dual vactrol (as in Buchla's 292C) in which sound travels
through and likes to driven harder than the other one (you five volt maximum
envelope guys may have a problem with this).
I take paypal.
The first letters received on each gets to prize(s).
Good luck to you all, merry mery and happy new new.
- Peter
P.S. Don't do anything stupid with liquor and automobiles this New Year's
Eve!
