Two things to try:
One, what is the recommended power requirement for the unit? Me thinks it
not 10.5. Whatever it is, this is what you should be using. Secondly, just
for fun, look to see if there's an electrolytic cap in backwards. This
working for a while and crapping out seems electrolytical (if that's a
word). This is what happened with my first Blacet osc. worked fine - for
about 20 seconds, then a little wiggle of freq and bye bye until i
re-powered it.
