I purchased a dual 365 pf Variable from him a few years ago. Last I checked, he still had some in stock.

Also, do a search of "Crystal Sets" or "Crystal Radios"...there was a crystal set site that sold at least single section variables...they also might have duals....but in general, air variables are going the way of the Dodo...which is too bad.

The previous owner used it as an lfo until finding another option. I have since modified it with a more "playable" crank from a mobile home window. I was thinking of making a keyboard controller of sorts to make this into a simple tube synth.. just osc and amp. The idea is inspired by cv controllers that instead of using set resistors have pots so each key is tunable...much like some of the midi controllers. I was thinking of doing something similar with these types of caps. Any ideas that could be simpler? I just know that this type of cap would cover the entire range of this beast. I'm open to suggestions. My recent time spent with older hammonds has inspired me with a bunch of pre-ic ideas. Currently building controllers with left over organ parts.
