I was tracking down a bug in a MIDI In routine and wrote a noddy data logger to
view just what the chip had received at the MIDI In port. I was somewhat
surprised to find that in a fairly complex stream of solo notes, chords and just
hammering the keyboard for the joy of it, not a single MIDI Off event was
produced. They were all Note On's, Note On's with a zero velocity and 'All Notes
Off' CC commands.
