[sdiy] mods for cmu-800 ?

Hello all!

I have come across a Roland CMU 800 (and its schematis) ... unfortunately I 
am rather newbie at modifying stuff (but quickly learning) so I was 
wondering if perhaps any of you had done any modifications to a CMU800, 
either putting CV in controls into it , or some kind of midi fitting into 
it. Either one would be very interesting ... =)
