4. Use a razorblade that is not (yet) magnetic.
5. search for good editing points. It helps cutting *just* before a
transient such as a snaredrum. You've got to hide the dust under
the carpet: An edit should be followed immediatly by something
more interesting then a tape edit.
6. rough endings to a sound are more of a problem then rough attacks.
7. if possible, do the edit befor you apply any reverb
8. use a good sense of timing or a good counter, or a non magnetic
roll-mate, taylor style.
9. etc.
