[sdiy] [OT] Behringer MX1804 - no excessive heat

yeah, my 2642 has some problems too. i havent opened them, but aren't they
one big circuit board with all pots etc soldered directly onto it? my d&r
has a seperate board for each channel and lots of space to work in. it might
be a problem getting into the behringer.. 'they're so cheap, just buy a new
one, sir'..;-)

as for quality german engineering, is it me or were behringer actually a
good quality name before they started pumping out budget composers, autocoms
and cheap mixers?
