JB,
Of course the Chowning book has the name Chowning on it; what more can one
say? It contains in-depth discussions and examples using 6 operators. It
provides some math and graphs and is generally a more theoretical book.
The Fukuda book is more of a DX-7 specific book. It provides DX-7 example
patches and then describes how they work. It goes more into detail about
the various DX-7 functions. As such, it is a more practical book.
Both are out of print, I believe. I got mine on eBay at great prices. ;)
George
