Good one but not electronic related
>We had to *specifically* have an instruction to TURN YOUR COMPUTER ON in
all the manuals. Tech
>support was getting 5-10 calls a day of the "it's not doing anything" variety.
hopefully people know this, 20 years later...?
>Most lawsuits (when I was there) were based on deaths occurring when
installing CB antennas.
>Falling off the roof, electrocution, that sort of thing.
most shops recommend professional antenna installation now...

street and got run

That's a real good one.
Sounds like one of my neighbors.
Lakeport could give any part of Texas a run for its
money when it comes to redneck stupidity.
Not to mention drunkenness.
The only two businesses in downtown
(that have been there year after year, for more than 50 years)
are the bars. Stand on main street at
10 AM on any day, and watch 30-40 drunks stagger by.
Nice quiet place to live, though...
