i think you'd be surprised at how many people are potentially interested in
diy. look at the sales of modulars. more and more people want different
sounding machines, and turn to more esoteric designs. a whole generation
grew up on tb303's and now wants something more. there's a big potential
there. also there are quite a few people getting into diy through circuit
bending, starting with speak & spells.. and lastly there's the category of
'have to's': people owning analogue synths with no money or no tech  to fix
them, and have to learn how to fix them themselves.

there,s hope, my friends.. ;-)
