Well, in about 2 years, when China monopolizes all manufacture *and*
development of electronics and starts to turn the screws on the
pricing, we will all wonder what happened to cheap electronics! Just
wait....

Well, that, and/or Osamu does a dirty radiological bomb on the main
Asian ports to shut down US manufacturing..

(little known fact: there are those who say that hitting the towers
was purely symbolic, the real targets are ports in Philipines, Hong
Kong, Beijing, Taiwan, and Japan... For some reason, the govt has been
worried about *hard* targets within the US.. Besides, with the amount
of traffic in these ports and the location, it would be much easier to
get in) Anway, the idea is brilliant nonetheless, and would truly
*cripple* the US economy and prices would skyrocket... It would be the
only time in which your computers worth would suddenly go up instead
of down. ;)

But, anyway, now that all the agencies with 3 letter acronyms are all
in a tussle, I should shut up now. ;)
