Count me as a card-carrying member of the Old Fart
Club. My first program was in fortran, on punch cards,
and ran on a IBM 360; My first computer was homebrew,
build on a proto board, and has 128 bytes of ram; my
first repair was on a tube TV (but I'm not too old, it
was a COLOR tv...);  etc, etc, etc.

But as the Greaseman pointed out, "While 40 is the old
age of youth, it is also the youth of old age".

I cling to those words like a democrat to a tax hike.
