Yes... although it might be more complex when the signals are very close
in frequency.  Most communications FM have a carrier much higher than the
modulating signal... and audio synthesis is often frequencies that are close...

Hmmm... if those frequencies are close the filtering will be really hard, yes
???
And if you really do it this way... you have to use pure sinewaves because all
the
harmonics will intermodulate as well...
