Yes!

Yes, exactly.

Some implementations include attenuation for practical concerns in
cases like where you have two 10.0 Vp-p waveforms on the inputs and
you really don't want a 100 Vp-p waveform on the output.  So that
might be:

  Z = 0.1 * X * Y
