K remember my last major cross post? Probably not. Theres been too many interesting things going on so I don't blame you. Well here goes.
I have an older packard bell computer that was given to me. It has the midi type sound card and turns out to have the Windows 3.11 for Workgroups operating system. I do recall lots of interesting posts.. but the hang up was on what sort of operating system this thing had. I recall Paul Perry having tons of great ideas... but thats not unusual in my opinion (hows the fuzz?).
This thing has the MIDI mapper software on it. I'm looking into options that would let me control some of my instruments...MIDI or MIDI to CV. Use the FM synthesis on the PC. Locate a random generator.... anything really.
So if there are any ideas out there... I am open to them... and these can be either windows or DOS based. Maybe an earlier version of C sound or whatever they are calling it now.... Anyway anything would be good... I'm only using it for Kloski now.
Oh and last but not least.... I'd like to thank Mark Pulver for inspiring a rabid search through the archives of AH! I think I know whats up now. Also how is this change going to effect those that got an early reserve on the Voyager (I'm serial number 32 in cherry.. nice to meet you). I'm curious because I haven't heard from Steve Dunnington yet.
Can't wait to get my old mini osc board racked and patchable (no I still haven't done it yet)... looking forward to lots of CV fun!!
