[sdiy] broken through hole

Hi Josh,
I hate it when that happens! Don't worry, you can pass the lead for the part
through the hole and solder to the nearest piece of copper that would have
gone to the through-hole insert. You may need to scrape away the green
solder mask a little bit to get to the metal. Is this a component, or an
external wire? Also, which pad is it? I can get a blank ASM-1 when I go home
tonight and walk you through it if you want.
Best Regards,
- Gene

Subject: [sdiy] broken through hole
As I was trying to figure out what is wrong with the VCO on my ASM1 I
actually pulled the metal out of the through hole. There was a little
ring around the wire. Would I be able to go ahead and solder the part on
or will I need to make the conection some other way.
Thanks for your help.
Sincerly,
Josh Randall
