I opened my textbook and there it is, circuit without one collector
resistor, so I digress, you're right. Different resistors 100k/220k
are probably to set voltage across the resistor to fit the balance
of sinking smallest base current in vbe>0.7 state and to keep it off
(vbe<0.7) when leakage current makes voltage across the same resistor.
So I was mistaken... And problem from the first mail is somewhere
else obviously. 47ohm/100uF is just decoupling rc filter for supply
rail. I wonder if cct woud benefit with better current source instead
of resistor in common emitters.
