Someone on the list has a neat JAVA applet that lets you
"see" the effects of varying the Walsh coefficients...
(fess up... who has it!)

You should all TRY this to see how counter-intuitive Walsh
drawbars would be.

The Hammond is a harmonic series... so its very easy to get the
hang of adding tones... more bars out = brighter.

The Walsh functions will fade in and out as certain parts of each
function cancel others out...

Now what would be interesting would be to have some intelligence
to the drawbars to synthesize some intuitive wave shaping...
