[sdiy] New Vco

Hello Rene' and everyone else - Just checked out Rene's website and am very
interested in the tube VCO/VCF/VCAs and noticed the prominent warning on all
those schematics.

What type of progression would you guys suggest in order to get to the point
you'd be comfortable working w/ High Voltages - any good books, whitepapers,
web sites on safety and a regimen to get someone up to the point where they
won't electrocute themselves. I realize alot of it is probably common
sense.

Also, what type of power supply would you use w/ a tube based design?

Thanks,

John

Hi all,

I've put up a new VCO design. Based on a 4069 hex inverter
and tree transistors. No difficult to obtain tempcos and yet
compensated.
A more detailed description and some constructional hints
are located at: http://www.uni-bonn.de/~uzs159/vco4069.html

Have fun.
 René
