Really really bad idea...noisy, inaccurate, unbalanced and of laughable buld
quality....even an open-frame tranny and a pair of 78/79 series regs would
be better.....unfortunately the safest quick way to get a PSU is batteries,
but you need a stable voltage supply for anything precision analogue and
there are no really cheap ways to do it....I build them  and they always
cost twice what anything else does unless you build a spring-line or a BBD
reverb in there.....
