R: Fw: [sdiy] First synth to build? PC power supply unit

PC power supply units are switching, not linear, which results in nasty
noise, and oftentimes (always?) require a heavy load on the +5v. Moreover,
the outputs at +-12v (I don't think they commonly have +-15v outputs) tend
to have insufficient current supplying capacity for usefulness.
