    PC Power Supplies:

    Pros:
        Widely Availiable
        CHEAP!
        Lot's of Power (if you are using the +5 volts).

    Cons:
        These are swtichers.  You have to be mindful of potential noise
problems.
        Most of the power comes out on the +5 volt lines.
        +/-12, +/-5 volts supplies (If you are using +12 volts, this would be a
pro).

    The PC power supply would probably me a lot more useful for a digital synth
(oopps...gotta go wash my mounth out with soap now !)

    Foaming at the mouth...
